The head of government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada Molina, emphasized that her main commitment is the well-being of the girls and boys of the capital. In this sense, she inaugurated the Zocalito de las Infancias festival, which will take place from April 25 to 30 in the Zócalo, turning the square into a place dedicated to play, creativity, and children's joy.

During the inauguration, Brugada highlighted the importance of placing childhood at the center of public policies. The event will offer more than 277 workshops, 42 artistic events, and various recreational and educational activities to promote the well-being and development of the young.

The Zocalito de las Infancias is a collaborative experience that involves the participation of foundations and companies such as Kool City and the Coahuila Desert Museum. Among the festival's attractions are mega-inflatables, earthquake simulators, specialized workshops in different areas, scientific replicas of dinosaurs, and various free activities for families in the capital.

With hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and until 8:00 PM for mega-inflatables and movie screenings, an influx of 500,000 visitors is expected. The safety of attendees is paramount, and hydration points, medical services, and the presence of Civil Protection and ERUM have been arranged.

Clara Brugada Molina emphasized that the Zocalito de las Infancias festival reaffirms the right of girls and boys to recreation and happiness, promoting a safe, fair, and equitable city. She also called for the replication of these types of spaces throughout the city, highlighting the importance of building an inclusive society committed to the future of childhood in CDMX.
